WHERE ARE DUCKFEET MADE?

Duckfeet are designed in Denmark and assembled in Poland. The leather is cow hides which comes from Germany and Holland are used in the making of the shoe. The leather is Terracare® Leather, which is a type of leather, that has been sustainably and ethically created to abide by social and environmental values. All materials are sourced from within the European Union. You can read about all about the production process here.

WHAT IS THE SOLE MADE FROM?

The sole is an Italian crepe sole. They are made from 100% natural pale latex crepe rubber, which offers high durability and great shock absorption. The rubber has great grip on most surfaces, but it is advised to use caution on icy surfaces. Due to the manual production process, there will be a range of colouration on the sole, as each pair is handcrafted, thus natural variations will occur.

HOW DO I BEST CARE FOR MY DUCKFEET?

If your shoes are dirty, a quick wipe with a damp cloth will in most cases do the trick. It is also recommended that you from time to time apply Duckfeet Leather Cream to keep your shoes looking great. Please visit our Care Guide for more information.

HOW DO DUCKFEET FIT?

Duckfeet's European sizes have a wide toe box. It is recommended that you visit our Fit Guide to determine which size best fits your feet. You are also most welcome to contact us, so we can help guide you in finding the perfect shoe.

ARE THERE DUCKFEET FOR KIDS OR YOUTH?

At this point, Duckfeet does not produce shoes for kids or youth. The smallest size is a Duckfeet size 35, which is aproximately a US size 5.

DO DUCKFEET HAVE ARCH SUPPORT?

WHAT IS THE LINING LIKE?

Our Winter models like Århus, Odense, and Silkeborg all have lining made from 100% premium European sheep wool. The lining covered the interior from top to bottom and ensures a comfortable and warm shoe in the colder months. The lining in the Winter models is non removable.

We also offer Wool Insoles for most other Duckfeet models for added warmth and cushioning.

DOES THE LEATHER STRETCH OR GET SOFTER?

Duckfeet models are made from Terracare® Leather, high quality full-grain leather, which means that the leather is both strong and durable, but can also feel stiff when you first start using them. No need for concern, though! Genuine leather breaks in faster than you would expect. Your shoes will quickly mold to your feet, and you'll have a truly unique pair of Duckfeet. Leather Cream can expedite the process, as well as extend the life of your shoes.

ARE DUCKFEET WATERPROOF OR WATER RESISTANT?

Genuine leather is naturally water resistant and will keep most water and moisture out. However, your Duckfeet may have water stains after heavy saturation. If you notice any water stains, take a lightly damped cloth and damp your entire shoe; let it dry completely afterwards. It is advised to apply some Leather Cream to keep your shoes in the best of conditions. Visit our Care Guide for more details on caring for your shoes.

WHY ARE MY DUCKFEET A DIFFERENT SHADE THAN WHAT I ORDERED?

Since all Duckfeet are vegetable tanned and handmade, you may experience slight variations is each pair. Combine that with how breaking in your Duckfeet will form to your feet, you'll have a truly unique pair of shoes. Yes, they are! Duckfeet has unisex sizing and styles, that work for everyone and anyone.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PACKAGE?

Once we have received your order, we ship your order out within 1-3 business days. Most products will arrive within 8-12 business days.

Products that are backordered are handled on a case by case basis, and will be shipped out when they become available.

If you need to cancel or change your order, please call us at (844) 448-2339 or email us at hello@duckfeetcanada.com as soon as possible after submitting your order, so we can figure it out with you. Products in stock usually ships within 1-3 business days. Once a product has been shipped, you will need to follow the Refund Policy.

All products over $100 will be shipped with tracking information. Tracking information will be sent to you as soon as available.
